Cabbage in the Ground

A reinterpretation of one of Ukraine’s oldest cabbage dishes. Inspired by the heritage recipe where cabbage was wrapped in cheesecloth, covered with earth, and slowly cooked, we recreate this ancient method by baking the cabbage before boiling it.
