Event details

Our ancestors prepared for Christmas well in advance and took care of their homes. Alongside the didukh and paper cuttings, a Christmas spider would hang from the ceiling — a symbol of light, balance, and good order within the family.
On Sunday, December 21, together with the project dedicated to researching Ukrainian traditions, Vytoky by the Zagoriy Foundation, we invite guests to a Christmas workshop. Guided by craftswoman Evelina Sentemon, we will talk about the tradition of the Christmas spider and weave one by hand.
For our gathering, we will bake pampukhy and prepare warm raspberry zbyten, to be shared with our guests.
The workshop will take place in our Red Room, so the number of seats is limited. We kindly ask you to secure your ticket in advance.
